Now Hiring for the 2026 Season
Holiday Lighting Installer
We're hiring experienced holiday lighting installers for the November–December 2026 install season, with takedowns in January 2027. You'll install roofline, gutter, tree, shrub, and wreath and garland displays, mostly at homes with some commercial properties. You need to have hung holiday lights at homes before — this isn't a learn-on-the-job role.
What you'll do
- Installing roofline and gutter lighting, tree and shrub lighting, and wreath and garland displays, mostly at homes with some commercial properties.
- Working safely from ladders and along rooflines in cold weather.
- Running C7/C9 and mini-light lines, choosing the right clips, setting timers, and keeping every load and extension cord run safe.
- Coming back in January 2027 to take the displays down.
- Working with our team and representing Lakeview on every job site, professional with every customer.
Season and schedule
- Seasonal W-2 employment — you're paid through payroll as an employee, with no 1099 paperwork.
- Installs run November through December 2026, with takedowns in January 2027.
- Part-time to full-time hours: weekdays, and some weekends during the season.
- Based out of Fairless Hills in Bucks County, PA, working across Bucks County and Greater Philadelphia.
- We show up on time: if our crew is late to a job, the customer gets a $100 credit. We're looking for people who take that seriously.
We work across 8 Pennsylvania counties and 14 in New Jersey, so you'll need reliable transportation to get to each job site.
What you need
- Proven experience hanging holiday lights at homes. This is required — be ready to talk through past jobs, and send photos if you have them.
- Comfortable and safe on ladders and rooflines in cold weather.
- You know clip types, C7/C9 and mini-light runs, timers, and safe load and extension cord practices.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional with customers.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Able to lift 50 lbs and carry ladders.
- Available weekdays and some weekends during the season.
Nice to have
None of these are dealbreakers — they just move you up the list.
- Commercial holiday display experience — storefronts, restaurants, multifamily.
- Experience with permanent or programmable LED lighting systems.
- Your own ladders and basic hand tools.
Why Lakeview
- $25–$35 an hour, based on experience.
- W-2 employment through payroll — no 1099 paperwork.
- A path to full time: high performers will be offered training in professional window cleaning, a skilled trade, and a path to a full-time, year-round role on our exterior services crew after the holiday season.
- A small, growing, fully insured team that holds itself to a high standard.
Compensation
$25–$35 per hour, based on your experience, paid through payroll as a W-2 employee.
Apply
Takes about two minutes. Tell us about the lights you've hung — how many seasons, homes or commercial, and what kinds of displays.
